Learn to be a DOG MUSHER!

We are the closest you will get to an amazing Alaskan adventure without leaving Northern Lower Michigan!

Private bookings - you are the only booking for the day.  This means one-on-one attention to YOU!

Located BELOW the Mackinac Bridge! (Spend the day getting "doggy", not in your car.)

We are a 24-dog kennel featuring Siberian and Alaskan huskies.

We have "SNOW DOGS"!

Step back in time and explore the history of this sport, the dogs, and the true "musher way of life".

Lots of "hands on" experience, if desired, as you harness, hook up, and drive your OWN team of 3-4 dogs.

Once you are trained to drive and on the sled, you will learn to ride the serpentine trails through our 40-acre private property with dips and turns, through the forest and fields.

$250 per person.   (Although our format is geared for 2 people, we can accommodate groups upon request.  Please contact us for group-rate details.) 

All ages welcome.  There are no size restrictions.  We can accommodate a ride to fit your needs.

One guest sled on the trail at a time.  (Remaining guest remains with LCK guide and are provided photo opportunities.) 

Your dog sled will FOLLOW the lead sled driven by Owner/Operator, Russ Sutherby, experienced musher.

Sled ride is approximately 2.5 - 3 miles per person.

We are open six days a week - closed Sunday. 

10:00 a.m. start time daily - plan on a 3 hour stay. Duration may vary depending on snow conditions.  (May be shorter, may be longer)

We are in a snow-belt - we have snow from Thanksgiving into April!  SO BOOK NOW!

• A 50% deposit is required for confirmation of adventure booking.

• Payment must be received by Russ-Stick Acres (RSA) in order to secure date in question.

•  Payment is by PayPal (see above), Check or Money Order only.

• Balance is due upon arrival.  Paid during sign in/signing of the waiver to hold harmless.

• This deposit is 100% refundable if cancellation is received by RSA in writing 30 days prior to your scheduled tour.

• Deposit is also 100% refundable if scheduled tour is cancelled by RSA due to extreme weather conditions.
