Russ-Stick Acres Aerobic Regime

Who would think…

…these little darlin’s could have such power.

For the last week, each evening, Rustic Russ and I have literally “hog-tied” little Rosie to give her a daily injection.

Easier said than done.

Dogs are easy. Cows can be easy. Horses no problem.

Even our former 800# sow, Peppermint Patty, was easy.

But wrangling a 30# pig is an aerobic event for two grown adults.

Rosie dashed, squealed, barked, snorted, and sighed. Only to do it all again the next day.

Until tomorrow ~ God willing,

  1. I can’t help but smile and even giggle when I see pictures of little Rosie and the other little pigs. I’ve seen them dash-in person. It was so exciting but I don’t envy you that daily dash and catch routine. Her meds should be completed soon. I don’t think I’d want to be the Big Bad Wolf that thinks he will be able to blow her house down! Thanks for another smile today.
