Alternate Trail

My good friend, Tim, will be disbanding his Siberian kennel and moving out West.

His presence will be missed.

True dog men don’t come along every day.

They are not made.

They are born with the gift.

Tim Riley has the gift.

A gentle hand. A kind word.

At home in nature.

I will miss his obvious passion for sled dogs, and all dogs, young and old.

I only hope our paths will cross again.

We wish him well.

Happy trails Tim.

Until tomorrow ~ God willing,

  1. I am so sad we are losing Tim from our area. It,indeed,is a great loss to us. And before I got to know him.
Good Luck Tim on your coming adventure to the West!

  2. Well, if you get the chance, please tell Tim that many people who have never met him wish him the best. I can’t imagine how heartbreaking it must have been for him to give up his kennel. However, I’m sure that he’ll find his way back into sled dogs someday.

  3. Can you share why he is moving out west. Such sad news to think he can’t continue the kennel. I had gone to his website this morning and found it no longer there and checked his blog. He hasn’t posted anything there in about a month.

    Thank you,

  4. Tim is still checking his email when time permits. You can catch him on there. If you need his address, contact me privately. Thanks for all the well wishes. I miss him already.
