Spring has sprung!
You know it’s here when you come home from a long day at work and find your rooster, DiNozzo, milling about, doing his free-range dance.
It’s also time to let the now sedentary sled dogs loose, one at a time, to run about and visit their neighbor.
Everyone gets a turn.
Every night.
Spring is also a time for reconnecting with old, dear friends.
Seeing new spring-born pups.
Laden with “puppy breath”.
And talking dogs, farm animals, and comparing homesteading projects with Tim.
Yes, spring is finally here.
A time to play.
And run like the wind!
A time for new farm life.
And hopes for the future.
And making friends, for life.
I hope you enjoy the warm sun as much as we are…
Until tomorrow ~ God willing,
Woodswoman

Ok, the last pic is so sweet. That was perfect timing with the pup smiling and eyes closed. The pictures of all the pups running free is wonderful , although , : my heart feels for the big guys in the background watching on longingly……..
Sounds like they all get their turn . At my friend” s kennel , they never get free and sometimes I just long to let all 50+ out and just enjoy watching their freedom. I wonder if they would all flee or stick around ? Probably some would , some wouldn’t.
